Toronto Photo Walks

Date: Saturday 3rd September 2011.

Meet: Noon at the TTC loop / GO station entrance to The Ex.
Note: general admission is $16; you can buy tickets online to avoid the queue.

We’re meeting up with some of the 500px team too – Jen & Andrey will have gifts (Gelaskins gift cards for everyone) and a contest (first prize is a Manfrotto tripod) – details are on the 500px blog here.

Air show: Scheduled to run from 12:30pm to 4:30pm.

Night shoot: Sunset is approximately 8pm so we’ll meet up at 7pm. Don’t forget to bring your tripod!

Meet: 10:00am at the south-east corner of Bathurst and Wilson [map]

Morning route: NE to the end of Westgate Blvd then into the ravine; follow the trail NE(ish) then N into the Park. Cutting W through the park, we’ll exit onto Raoul Wallenberg Road, then N on Bathurst to Sheppard.

Lunch: Wakame Sushi, 638 Sheppard Ave W (To be confirmed)

Afternoon: N on Bathurst until we cross the Don River, then SE on Don River Blvd through Bathurst Park. E on Sheppard then N on Addington Ave, all the way to the end. Cross Senlac Rd then head E on Burnett Ave; S on Bangor Rd; E on Burndale Ave. N on Beecroft Rd to the North York Civic Centre; through Mel Lastman Square; S on Yonge to the pub

Post-walk: Frog & Firkin, 4854 Yonge St (To be confirmed)

Meet: 10:00am at St. George Subway (St. George and Bloor).

Morning route: Explore the west side of the campus.

Lunch: Bocca on Baldwin, 26 Baldwin Street, one block west of McCaul. (~12:30pm; confirmed.)

Afternoon: Walk along College and head up the East side of the campus up to Bloor, over to the other side of University Ave. campus, cross Queens park and complete east side of campus.

Post-walk: Sin and Redemption, 136 McCaul Street (~6:00pm; confirmed.)
