Centre Island, June 25th

Date: Saturday 25th June 2011.

Meet: 10:00am at the ferry docks behind the Westin Harbour Castle at Bay and Queens Quay. It’s going to be crazy busy so please arrive on time! [map]
Note: the adult fare is $6.50 (return).

Route: Head over to watch the 23rd Toronto International Dragon Boat Race Festival; there are races throughout the day. Once we’re ready to move on, we’ll see how we’re doing for time and pick up part of Derek’s route from last September’s walk.

Lunch: There will be lots of food stalls at the Dragon Boat Race Festival (but no beer; sorry).

Post-walk: Harbour Sports Grille (6pm; Confirmed)

Rosedale and Summerhill, June 11th

Date: Saturday 11th June 2011.

Meet: 10:00am at the NE corner of Yonge and St.Clair. [map]

Morning route: East on St.Clair East; Inglewood; Mt. Pleasant; cut across David A Balfour park; Rosehill; Balmoral (hopefully stop in at the fire hall); south on Yonge to the pub!

Lunch: The Monk’s Table (~12:30pm; confirmed.)

Afternoon: Woodlawn Ave East; across David A Balfour park again; Mt. Pleasant; Carstowe; MacLennan; Schofield; Roxborough; south on Mt. Pleasant to cross safely!; Crescent; Wrentham; Roxborough to Yonge St.

Post-walk: Rebel House (~6pm; they don’t take reservations!)
