Guildwood Park, May 14th

Posted on May 11, 2011 by Paul Henman

Date: Saturday 14th May 2011.

Meet: 1pm at Guild Inn (the main entrance) [map]

Afternoon: Wander around the park; along the path that runs by Lake Ontario. (There really isn’t a “route” as such – it’s just a great place to explore!)

Post-walk: Nothing planned; feedback so far sounds like it’ll be a small group, so hopefully you can car-share and find a bar!

Hashtag: please use “TOPW:GP”

    Hey Paul,

I saw your cross-post over on LJ and if you’re looking for a decent bar close by, I heard that the Stone Cottage Pub (3750 Kingston Road, http://www.stonecottagepub.com) is pretty decent and it’s not that far from the Guild Inn.

    Cheers,
    Josh 🙂

    1) It’s looking less and less likely that I’ll be able to make it to the one, which is frustrating because there’s so much there to shoot (and I didn’t have time when I was there a few weeks ago).

    2) The weather forecast is wet (not unusual for us) but some forecasts include thunder storms. Be aware that there is nowhere to shelter there other than the large trees … which you do not want to do if there’s a thunder storm!
