Meet: 10:00am at the entrance to Eglinton West subway station. [map]
Morning route: E on Eglinton Ave then almost immediately N on the path beside Allen Road, then E on the Kay Gardner Beltline Trail. When we reach Bathurst, go S then W on Shallmar Blvd; S on Hillop Road; W on Ridge Hill Drive; S on Old Park Road. E on Old Forest Hill Road (across Bathurst) to Eglinton W, then W to our lunch stop.
Lunch: Thirsty Fox, 1028 Eglinton West
Afternoon: N on Old Park Road; E on Wembley Road; N on Hillop Road; E on Ridge Hill Drive; N on Bathurst then E on the Kay Gardner Beltline Trail. We’ll stay on the Beltline Trail all the way SE (over Eglinton and Avenue Road), crossing over Yonge Street (just S of Davisville station) and passing along the N edge of Mount Pleasant Cemetery. N on Mount Pleasant Road then W on Merton Street to reach the post-walk watering hole.
