Visitin’ the Inn

Brad is leading another walk; we’ll be heading to the west end again.

Date: September 21st, 2024.

Meet for coffee & chats anytime after 9:00am at the Starbucks at 3079 Bloor St West, just west of Royal York Subway Station.

Head out at 10:00am. Starting from the Starbucks at Bloor St West and Montgomery Rd, we’ll walk west on Bloor, crossing Mimico Creek then NW on Mimico Creek Trail. Before reaching the rail tracks we’ll turn NE and head to Montgomery Rd. Cutting under the tracks, then north(ish) on Allanbrooke Drive. We then take Old Oak Road east and Old Oak Drive north (I hope there’s an Old Oak to see!) to Dundas St West. We’ll stop at Saint George’s Cemetery. The walk heads SW along Dundas; we’ll stop and tour Montgomery’s Inn, which is just before Islington Ave. From there we continue SW on Dundas until we reach our lunch spot.

Lunch from 12:30pm at St. James’s Gate pub at 5140 Dundas St West.
Kipling station is about a 7 minute walk from the pub. You can take a bus if you do not want to walk.
