1 Roll around Parkdale and Queen St West, January 27

Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018

Brad is organising our next scheduled photowalk:

This walk the theme is to take only 24 photos because you have only 1 (virtual) roll of film for each part of the walk. So at the end of the day you will have 48 photos. I have not decided if I will only take black and white in camera or colour photos. If you use Flickr you can post your 48 photos and then post a link in the walk album page.

Meet Up
10:00 AM Starbucks at 2201 Dundas Street West at Dundas & Roncesvalles

We will walk through Parkdale for the morning and then stop for our pub break

Pub Stop
The Rhino at 1249 Queen St West (unconfirmed)
The Rhino has a brunch menu on weekends and a good selection of beers on tap.

Afternoon
We will walk east on Queen and through some side streets and work our way to King St

Pub Stop end of walk
Wheat Sheaf Tavern (unconfirmed)

Hair of the Dog, January 1st 2018

Friday, December 29th, 2017

NOTE: The Polar Bear Dip has been cancelled due to the weather!
New plan = we’re meeting for lunch at the 3 Brewers at Yonge and Dundas (275 Yonge St.) at noon.

As is tradition for TOPW, we will kick off the year with the Hair of the Dog walk on January 1st.

Meet: 11am on the beach/boardwalk by Sunnyside Pavillion [map]
There’s usually a huge crowd, so we normally break up into smaller groups in order to find spots from which to shoot.

Rumour has it that Georgette is taking part in the annual Toronto Polar Bear Dip and raising money for Boost Child and Youth Advocacy Center.

After the dip (about 12:30pm) we’ll head to a bar. (Firkin on the Bay, 68 Marine Parade Drive – confirmed)

There’s no walk planned after lunch; we usually sit around and chat for most of the afternoon.

Click & Drink Walk, September 2nd

Saturday, August 26th, 2017

Thanks to Brad for organising another walk. This will be our 200th scheduled walk!

This is the groups 200th scheduled walk and we are going to celebrate the occasion.

The map is of the west end of Toronto and shows all the microbreweries in the west end.

Morning Meet Up
We will meet up at 10:00 AM at Propeller Coffee at 50 Wade Ave.

We will look at the map and decide the route we will follow to visit as many of the breweries we can during the day. I have the times that they open so we can plan our route around these times.

There will be time between the breweries to allow for photos to be taken.

Lunch: Some breweries have food and we will have lunch at one of them.

After Walk Pub: We will see where we are on the map and decide on a final stop for the day.
