The runaway winner in the latest poll was Toronto Necropolis & Riverdale Farm, so we’re off the see animals and headstones! Incidentally, this was the very first “official” TOPW walk, back in November 2009 [details].
Date: Saturday 5th March 2011.
Meet: 10:00am at the entrance to the farm at 201 Winchester Street [map]
Route: Wander around the farm, and then wander around the Necropolis. (I like these simple walks!)
Note: the farm is going to be muddy, so be prepared!
About 5pm we’ll heard down Sumach, River, Shuter then Sumach again to reach Queen St.
Lunch: At the farm – they have a small kitchen.
Post-walk: The Dominion on Queen (To be confirmed)

Given this walk was pretty much rained-off, we’ll schedule it again towards the end of summer.
We actually ended up spending the afternoon in Prohibition – the Dominion was closed at lunchtime.
