You can start from Union Station and choose between the train and a short bus ride, or take an express bus direct to Hamilton. The train departs Union at 8:43 and arrives in Aldershot at 9:48, where you transfer to a bus that leaves at 9:57 and arrives in Hamilton at 10:12. The express bus leaves Union at 8:53 and arrives at 9:52; another one leaves at 9:23 and arrives at 10:22.
For those of you driving, there are several parking lots within a short walking distance of the Hamilton GO station; Google Maps is your friend! Alternatively, you can park at the Aldershot GO station for free, and get a day pass into Hamilton and back for $9.00; this saves you the agony of negotiating downtown Hamilton’s many one-way streets!
The morning route stays close to the GO station for you latecomers! 😉
