TOPW’s 350 Walks Completed & Picnic (August 1st)

Just a few notes to begin with…

• Bring something to sit on (lightweight portable chair or blanket), picnic lunch and a beverage of your choice. You can also purchase eats at the close by Island Cafe.
• While leaders guide you on the walk, someone (Vic), will stay with all our gear.
• You are welcome to invite your partner to our first annual TOPW picnic.

Date: Saturday, August 1st, 2026.

Note: Our 350th picnic and walk resumes August 1st, rain or shine. If the sun shines, bring your portable chairs, blankets and lunch (or purchase there). If it rains, we only do the walk portion and find somewhere indoors to eat. Hopefully it will be the former and not the latter.

9:00 am – Meet Ward’s Island. When disembarking from the ferry, go a little left and just ahead. You should be able to see us. Brightly coloured umbrellas will be visible.
When looking at the ferry schedule, make sure you’re checking the Ward’s Island times, e.g. 8:15am, 9:00am, 9:30am.

10:00 am – Meander Ward’s & Algonquin Islands, cottages and area.

12:00 pm – Back to our picnic area.
