Cabbagetown & Church Street beat Parkdale & Roncesvalles Village by just one vote!

Date: Saturday 2nd April 2011.
Meet: 10:00am at SE corner of Church and Bloor, in front of BMO [map]
Route: Straight down Church Street!
Lunch: Duggan’s [confirmed]
Afternoon: Zigzag over to Queen and Jarvis; up Jarvis to Dundas, then up George St to Gerrard. Cut across Allan Gardens then E on Carlton to Ontario St. Follow Ontario round to Winchester, zigzag through Metcalfe, Millington, Woodstock, Carlton and Sumach before heading W on Spruce St to Parliament.

The runaway winner in the latest poll was Toronto Necropolis & Riverdale Farm, so we’re off the see animals and headstones! Incidentally, this was the very first “official” TOPW walk, back in November 2009 [details].

Date: Saturday 5th March 2011.
Meet: 10:00am at the entrance to the farm at 201 Winchester Street [map]
Route: Wander around the farm, and then wander around the Necropolis. (I like these simple walks!)
Note: the farm is going to be muddy, so be prepared!
About 5pm we’ll heard down Sumach, River, Shuter then Sumach again to reach Queen St.
Lunch: At the farm – they have a small kitchen.
Post-walk: The Dominion on Queen (To be confirmed)

Simple plan: meet outside Riverdale Farm, opposite the Necropolis, at the end of Winchester St, at 1pm on Saturday, November 14th.

There’s a Facebook event and it’s on GuestListApp (for those not on Facebook); it’s also mentioned in the Toronto Flickr group’s discussion thread and my LiveJournal.

(This is the first photo walk I’ve organised in a few months, although a few of us got together to shoot at Guild Inn recently.)
