I’ve created a new poll (which you should see in the website‘s side bar) asking when is the best time for a photo walk. So far we’ve done Saturday afternoon, Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon, and each time I’ve received requests to reschedule to a more convenient time. I know I can’t please everyone, but this poll will give me an indication of when it’s best to schedule the next one. (Having said that, it’s not like we have much light in the evenings in winter!)
I should have posted the result of the poll! In decreasing order of popularity:
- Saturday afternoon (42%, 5 Votes)
- Saturday evening (33%, 4 Votes)
- Saturday morning (25%, 3 Votes)
- Sunday afternoon (25%, 3 Votes)
- Sunday morning (17%, 2 Votes)
- Sunday evening (17%, 2 Votes)
So, Saturdays it is! (There may be the occasional Sunday thrown in if there’s a special event etc.)

Hi Phil; glad you found us; the next photo walk will be on January 30th and it looks like it’ll be in The Beaches (unless the poll swings dramatically). There’s no formal sign up but I post the details to both the Flickr group (in the Discussions) and to the Facebook group (as an Event); it’s great if people respond because it gives me an idea of numbers, but I don’t really keep track until we actually start the walk – I try to get everyone’s Flickr names so I can post a follow up with links.
