An offshoot of TOPW is the 6ix Clicks Collective (Andrew Smith, David Williams, Mary Crandall, Jeff Stewart, Sasha Furlani, Harry Halyk) and we currently have 2 exhibits running for the month of March at the Riverdale Gallery. One is part of the citywide Myseum Intersections festival – “Focus on Gerrard” – portraits and words of people from the part of Gerrard known as Little India. We also have a group show of our own work.
This walk will look at Gerrard Street from Broadview to Coxwell.
10:00AM – meet at the Tim Hortons at 547 Gerrard St. East (just west of Broadview).
We will walk east along Gerrard.
Last year, there were 7 new murals painted around Broadview and Gerrard, depicting wonders of the world.
12:00noon – Lunch at the Lahore Tikka House
1:30pm – The Riverdale Gallery, 1326 Gerrard St. East, 3rd floor.
This is where both of our photo shows are hung. From the gallery we will spread out in small groups to photograph “Little India” … Gerrard St from Greenwood to Coxwell … ending up back at the gallery.
